Dianna Rose is from Sacramento. She came from a musical family, "Mom played the piano, Dad sang. I'd put on little productions and drag my sister into the shows!" Childhood also included tap & folk dancing, singing, drums and theater. She started her radio in high school, then in college at NPR affiliate KUOP, followed by an MA in Broadcast Journalism from USC. She then took a year off and lived in London, during which she worked at the BBC in Children's Television.
After returning to LA, she resumed her on-air radio career, including K-Surf, K-Lite, JazzFM, CD103.1, and most recently at KFRG as part of the morning show for 3 years. She also produced & wrote "The Countdown with Walt 'Baby' Love," the longest-running R&B syndicated radio show, for over 3 years. Her passions include travel, diving, animal welfare ("I've been a vegetarian since age 9"), yoga, and her cats Alexander & Misha.
